2027 Honda Civic adds a Sport-L trim with leather and heated seats

Honda announced the 2027 Civic on October 8. The sedan and hatchback are arriving at dealerships now. The new Sport-L trim is due by the end of 2026.
Sport-L uses the 2.0-liter gas engine. It adds leather seats, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control. Honda says most of these items were limited to hybrid trims before.

The Sport-L sedan starts at $28,495, or $29,790 with destination. The hatchback starts at $29,695, or $30,990 with destination. The destination charge is $1,295.
The sedan line starts with the LX at $24,995. The Sport Hybrid sedan is $29,695 and is rated at 49 mpg combined by the EPA. Premium paint costs $455 extra.
Honda also says the Sport Touring Hybrid can have an S+ Shift drive mode. It mimics a performance transmission with simulated downshifts and gear holds.
